SEATTLE WEDDING ANNIVERSARY PHOTOGRAPHER – ASHLEY AND JACE

There are clients in this world who leave an impact on your heart. Their love, their kindness, their uncanny ability to be real from the get-go. That is Ashley and Jace. This darling couple traveled from Maine to Washington and then upward into Alaska for their one year adventure celebration. They wanted a shoot to capture the true essence of the PNW – a shoot to showcase the vast mountainous beauty – a shoot to mark this pivotal milestone in their journey together. We hiked up to insanely gorgeous spot and while Rattlesnake Ridge is wildly popular for its incredible views, I had never been. I had seen images taken from this spot and knew it was stunning but there is just no way to explain what you feel when you’re up there. Ashley and Jace explored, gazed, walked, jumped, laughed, and took deep breaths together as they leapt into year 2 of marriage. I posted on INSTAGRAM recently about how trust in your photographer is so crucial in being able to get images that are uniquely yours. Ashley and Jace were daring, trusting, and adventurous – their images are ones I am so proud of as a result. There are images which exhibit the symbolism of their love, there are images that highlight the subtleness of being a couple, there are images you can see the love and nurturing they have for one another, and there are images where you can feel the belly laughs they share.
